Overhead Reduction

I founded the Academy of Dental CPAs (ADCPA) 10 years ago, which now serves over 7000 dentists providing them with a group of financial advisors who understand both the business and clinical sides of dentistry, and the equipment, materials and technologies that dentistry requires. From Henry Schein Dental, we have been able to grow our understanding of the dentist's clinical world, while bringing a new understanding of the dentist's business life to the Henry Schein team. Several times a year I teach Henry Schein Sales Consultants how to assist dentists in evaluating their financial statements, reducing their overhead, and planning for their financial futures. In my experience working with hundreds of dentists, a Henry Schein practice analysis followed by a detailed dental CPA review is the first step towards a successful, profitable dental practice.

Overhead is a source of concern for every dentist. Since completing training in the Henry Schein Career Development curriculum and with the Academy of Dental CPA’s, I have been able to assist many of my customers with improving their overhead situation. By analyzing their production, and taking advantage of the discoveries, we are able to target the most efficient ways to reduce overhead. I help my customers to make change where it counts, to reduce stress, and get ahead of the overhead curve. Making sense of the formula behind the balance sheet, can open up a world of possibilities for the dental practice, and it allows the doctor to focus on reaching his or her personal and professional goals.
