2021 Rising Star Award Winner! Darlene Eckhardt

Athletic Trainer, Buffalo Beauts

I want to inspire people looking at the field of athletic training as a traditional field to help them realize there are a million different paths you can take. Working as a Physician Extender for an orthopedic surgeon during the day, and a professional female hockey team (NWHL), and a local high school in the evenings proves that anyone can follow their desired path as long as they make their dream field a reality!"
