Helping Students Start the School Year Strong with Henry Schein’s Back to School Program

For 27 years and counting, we’ve been helping children start the school year with confidence through our Back to School program. At nearly 40 locations around the world, our Team Schein Members (TSMs) came together to provide more than 5,000 students with backpacks filled with school supplies and hygiene essentials—because we believe every child deserves the tools to succeed. 

Empowering Communities: 27 Years of Giving Back

Here’s how we made an impact in 2024:

✅ In Denver, Pennsylvania, our Distribution Center team packed 350 backpacks for the Children’s Home of Reading, ensuring local students had the supplies they needed.

✅ At our global headquarters in Melville, New York, TSMs packed 400 backpacks for Long Island-based social service organizations, helping families prepare for the school year ahead.

✅ Our Indianapolis Distribution Center team packed 300 backpacks for the Pike County Trustees Office and nearby elementary schools, supporting students in need.

✅ In Belfast, Northern Ireland, TSMs provided 25 backpacks to Aspire NI, an organization that supports children facing adversity in Portadown.

✅ Our Dublin, Ireland-based team partnered with Barnardos, a nonprofit helping children in need, donating 25 backpacks to local families.

✅ In Niagara-on-the-Lake, Canada, we welcomed 150 students and their families to our corporate office and distribution center, where they received backpacks, school supplies, and a day of fun, food, and games.

✅ In Montreal, Canada, our TSMs teamed up with La Relance, a community-based educational organization, to host 50 children and their families for a day of games, crafts, and support. Each child went home with a backpack, new shoes, and a dental kit to start the year off strong.
