Michael S. Ettinger has been with the Company since 1994, and in his current position as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of the company since 2022. He is also a member of our Executive Management Committee. As Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Ettinger oversees the Office of the CEO (including Henry Schein Cares, the Company’s global corporate social responsibility program), as well as the Company’s corporate affairs, global corporate communications, legal, compliance and regulatory, global human resources, global security, global supply chain, and information technology functions. Mr. Ettinger is also a member of the board of directors of the Henry Schein Cares Foundation, Inc.

Prior to his current position, Mr. Ettinger served as Senior Vice President, Corporate & Legal Affairs and Chief of Staff, Secretary from 2015 to 2022; Senior Vice President, Corporate & Legal Affairs and Secretary from 2013 to 2015; Corporate Senior Vice President, General Counsel & Secretary from 2006 to 2013; Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary from 2000 to 2006; Vice President and Associate General Counsel from 1998 to 2000, and Associate General Counsel from 1994 to 1998. Before joining the company, Mr. Ettinger served as a senior associate with Bower & Gardner and as a member of the Tax Department at Arthur Andersen.

Mr. Ettinger earned a bachelor's degree in economics at Binghamton University, State University of New York, and a JD/MBA from the University at Buffalo School of Law, State University of New York.
