SIMPLE GESTURES WITH A HUGE IMPACT: UKRAINE HYGIENE PACK PROGRAM

From April to August 2022, Henry Schein Cares launched the Ukraine Hygiene Pack Program, a global effort responding to the humanitarian crisis in Ukraine. As a result of the campaign, more than 200 Henry Schein health care customers purchased $10 hygiene packs, which included toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, and shampoo, and were kitted by more than 300 Team Schein Members, customers, and their families and friends. This took place at the Company's Reno, NV and Grapevine, TX distribution centers, as well as sites in France, Italy, Germany, and Australia. Once items were purchased and kitted, more than 27,000 people received hygiene packs thanks to nonprofit partners, MedShare and International Medical Corps, who worked with local partners such as Razom for Ukraine, RescueNow, Egida, and United Family Foundation.

Ukraine Humanitarian Aid

In addition, Henry Schein Cares and the Henry Schein Cares Foundation committed $1 million in cash and product donations toward the humanitarian crisis by supporting our long-standing global humanitarian aid partners with the necessary medical supplies to aid health care professionals and civilians in need. Our partners understand how to operate efficiently and deliver relief during desperate times of need, and we strive to amplify their efforts by connecting you to avenues of support. Collectively, we can make a more significant impact toward the needed $4.3B (U.S.) in funding, according to the UN, to help the Ukrainian people and refugees from this war access water, food, health care, and other essential services.
