Indications include apexification, treating infected root canal, temporary root filling, root-canal filling for primary teeth, disinfecting after pulp extirpation treatment, vital pulpotomy, and temporary pulp capping. It is iodoform-free and water soluble, so it is easy to clean and remove. Radiopaque and antibacterial.
