Hemodent liquid is a buffered aluminum chloride, without epinephrine, that is used to stop minor gingival bleeding when performing oral surgery procedures. However, Hemodent is also used to suppress bleeding during crown preparations, before taking impressions, cement bases or cementing inlays and after oral surgery, curettage, gingivoplastys and deep scaling.
