How to Screen a Subject Using the Spot Vision Screener

  • Dim the lights in the screening area
  • Activate the vision screener by turning it on
  • The home screen will become visible upon activation
  • Initiate the screening process by tapping the "Start" button and entering the patient's date of birth or age.
  • Prepare to screen the subject by positioning them appropriately
  • Maintain a distance of 3 feet (approximately 1 meter) from the subject
  • Gently hold the vision screener lever in front of the patient's eye
  • Keep the vision screener steady during the screening process
  • The device will emit the soothing sound of birds, helping the subject to focus their attention on the device
  • Upon completion of the screening process, the results will be displayed on the screen
  • Results will automatically save for future reference and analysis

How long Does it Take to Charge?

After the battery is completely drained, it merely takes two hours to recharge, offering an impressive lifespan of over four hours on just a single charge.
