  • Reduce administrative burden—frees up staff to focus on patient care
  • Easily return expired crash cart meds with prepaid envelopes
  • One predictable annual fee—no surprise costs
  • Automatically monitor your account, code cart medication status, and national drug backorder status

FAQs:

What does automatic replenishment look like?

Automatic replenishment is a standard service that comes with any crash cart emergency medication program. HealthFirst monitors medication expiration dates on an online platform called OnTraq. Prior to the expiration date, HealthFirst will automatically send a replacement to you, so you are never stuck with an expired drug in your cart. Along with that new medication, they also send a pre-addressed envelope for medication disposal – they thought of everything.

What happens if I use a medication in an emergency?

Notify HealthFirst that the medication was used, and HealthFirst will overnight a replacement medication and update OnTraq to accurately reflect the new medication’s expiration date.

What if my formulary changes and I need another medication added?

If you want to change your formulary, you can do so at any time by contacting your Henry Schein representative. We will provide you with a new quote for your medications and update OnTraq appropriately.
